My name is Vanessa Cordova, and I’m a 4th year majoring in Integrative Biology with an emphasis in Human Biology. Some of my favorite AMWA memories include visiting UCSF Parnassus, where I had the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops such as practicing ultrasounds. I have also really enjoyed giving back to the community through activities like first-aid and hygiene kit building for underserved communities. This semester, I hope to continue gaining clinical experience while becoming more involved in volunteer opportunities that serve underserved communities.
